Come with us, as we travel near and far to enjoy Broadway at its best. Featuring reviews and news from musicals in NYC, as well as the touring broadway shows as they come to our city here in Salt Lake City. We go to as many shows as we can and in our years of being married we have seen over 300 productions.
We love to talk about shows and love to get out and see new shows of all kind. We love to talk to other people about shows and really like the idea of everyone getting out and see a show. We think that broadway has never been more diverse and that there is a show for anyone no matter who they are.

After Waitress officially closed and COVID shut down Broadway theaters, Sara Bareilles is back leading the cast of Waitress every night. This is one of our favorite parts of the show, and it’s not even officially in the show. During the pre-show Sara sings a song telling folks to turn off their cell phones.

Awesome review. I absolutely love this show. I’m blown away by it in every way. Agree with you on all your points. The production is mind blowing 🤯! I’ve seen it twice on Broadway, once in LA and can’t wait to see it Saturday in SLC. (Trying to find a way to make it to the West End to see Myles Frost in it again 🤩, any pointers let me know. 😉)

Sorry we missed your comment, they have been making regular cast member changes and it is best to check the website as well as follow them on social for the most up to date changes.

I had The Misfortune to see the touring cast of this at the Benedum theater in Pittsburgh. I can't imagine any other reason for this second rate performance of the re imagine other than to insult the tradition of Broadway musicals. I'm sure the Broadway actors are better than the touring company but these guys would be second-rate even in a small town high school or Community Theater production. If it's your opinion that shock and offend equals brilliance oh, well to each his own

I went to go see the show in October for my birthday. I cried at the beginning and at the end because we had to leave. Absolutely amazing, definitely go and see you you get the chance

I was at the show Saturday night and these performers were AMAZING! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to break free from the original cast but I was surprised how quickly I forgot about them :D KIDDING! After the show, we waited outside the stage door and the cast greeted the crowd as they left for the night. No autographs due to COVID, but they let us know in no uncertain terms what our enthusiasm meant to them. I actually "fist-bumped" Miguel as he passed us so I got to touch A. Ham! My BFF and I traveled from Chicago to NYC just to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience and we were not disappointed. Thank you, Lin, for this amazing work of art! Thank you NYC cast 2022 for your passion, pride, and perseverance through this trying time. I hope it was as worth it for you as it was for us! WE LOVE YOU ALL! <3

But Jonathan Groff should be King Charles FOREVER! He should be crowned the King of Broadway. I may even go to to Matrix 4 just to see him (but probably not). Bad career choice, Jonathan. Bring back MINDHUNTER.
Jonathan Groff was fantastic. That role was made for him.
This is so good to hear. I want to see it again so badly, but I saw the OBC in 2016 and wasn't sure any cast could compare. I was pregnant with my daughter when the cast recording came out. We jammed to it in the car on the way to my OB appts. Oak's voice cut through all the inside noise and she would kick the crap out of me when ever he would scream "When you knock me down I get the f*ck back up again." Took the train down from Boston to see it when I was VERY preganant. She kicked the crap out of me at the exact same point in the show. Now she's 5 and it's still our jam. I'm not a mom who gets too worked up about the bad words in the name of good art. I'm going to take her next year. By most accounts, she's a little young, but it's our jam.
@@Nickabod79 That is such a great story! She knows what’s up! That is a great part! We had the same thing happen with our little girl for Waitress. We went to it when Leigh was very pregnant with her and she loved the music. Then she loved it when she was born as well and it was the music that would always calm her down and help her sleep. She loved “soft place to land”. So excited for you to be able to take her! I hope she loves it! It is such a great jam!

Does anyone know the exact name of the Covid Vaccination App? I received my booster (3rd) vaccine last week and I need to update my records. It would be easier to use this app rather than carrying the card everywhere. TIA
It’s called NYCCovidSafe and it has made things much easier! We have enjoyed it. The theatres recommended it to us when we bought tickets. It has a blue icon with the Statue of Liberty on it. Hope that helps.

@@kyden_bored2544 that makes sense! It’s always something we have to save up for and they are pricey! There are so many great ways to get tickets at a great price. A lot of shows are talking through their lottery or rush policies coming back online. We always watch for those as well.

Would absolutely love to see this in person. Have seen the Australian production a few months back, but the price of admission would just be worth seeing James Monroe Iglehart. I’m sure he was just as fantastic as he was as the Gene in Aladdin.
You are absolutely correct, well said! He was wonderful and brought something new and fresh to the role! We truly enjoyed seeing him in this role! He was a huge standout in this cast. Love his work and what he brings to the stage!

Miguel has been the most fantastic Hamilton of any of the casts I've seen so far tbh. he's incredible
He truly is wonderful! We really enjoyed him as well! He is Incredible! He brings so much to the character. Well said!
He played it here in Chicago for years. He's terrific.
His take on the role was so different than others we've seen, and we loved discovering it through his eyes.

This is the current Broadway cast. This was the curtain call for their first night back on Broadway. We found a full list of the cast on the Hamilton website. It was an amazing cast.

@@douglasduff4466 such a wonderful show! It will always be one of my favorites! That was the second Broadway musical I ever saw and it will always be super special to us. We go back to it at least 1 time per year!
I see it annually too. 58th time coming up in London in December. I was lucky enough to see the Original London Company in 1986.
